Days 5:
00am-1:
30pm Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting or refinishing by sandblasting them Operate sandblasting equipment to remove paint, rust, and other debris from surfaces Follow schematics and instructions to determine the appropriate areas to sandblast Use frame carpentry, plaster, and masonry skills to build or repair surfaces as needed Perform airless paint spraying to apply primer or paint to surfaces Assist with other maintenance person tasks and renovations as required Maintain sandblasting equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
Qualifications:
Must beable to lift 75-100lbs.
Must be able to hold and control/operate 50 pound equipment throughout shift.
Experience in sandblasting or a related field is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate! Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed Ability to read and interpret schematics and follow instructions accurately Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as requiredh Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Whatyou'll need:
Reliability- have a strong attendance record Physically capable of lifting and controlling equipment thorughout shift Working in both hot an cold environments Wearing safety and head/face covering PPE throughout shift Being on your feet all day Taking and applying constructive feedback from supervisors and trainers in a positive manner A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
